Oh, Zones!

Just came from my Socio 101 class and we were discussing... *drum roll* Zones of Interaction...

Vengga!

I just realized that wrestling is included in the intimate zone (0-18 in). Kaya ang mga vampires, very intimate... may necking pa (at the very least)!

Another interesting topic that we discussed was the "Excurses on Love" by Peter Blau.

In his article, there I found some points interesting:
  • Love is based on costs and rewards. (Shit, parang Econ.) Increase in rewards means increase in commitment (this I don't fully understand); increase in sacrifices means increase in commitment.
  • The more involved a person is, he or she becomes less powerful (Principle of Least Interest).
  • Ang idea natin ng love, kailangan laging equal. That if you give, you should receive. And preferably of the same amount...

Hmmm... this I still have to find out for myself. Nothing beats experience.
