You know...
In the legal transcript I am editing right now, I encountered a witness who's supposed to be a... rapper!
Most of her statements contain "you know" and the transcript becomes commaphilic. I can actually imagine her with a bling bling!
=====
I've had a few surprises these days.
Yesterday, I bumped into Lec on my way to work. He told me he's going to give me a copy of their first single "Psycho."
*in the tune of Bioman's team*
Mahal ko siya ngunit... psycho siya...
This morning, a friend from high school sent me a message saying she's read my blog!
Watdapek!
I appreciate it when people take time to check my blog. But my high school friends? I wish they would but I hope none of my entries would end up in confrontations.
Somehow, I explained to her that my entries were just about how I perceived things then. Well, it's not everyday that I get to update my blog. So I told her that I have some thoughts about the guy but I didn't have time to post them. It was settled.
But she found out about Jeffrey.
Hahaha!
=====
Speaking of Jeffrey, he wasn't able to come in the house for lunch. He said he woke up late.
I know he's meeting her then so I told him to prioritize what should be prioritized. Sure I would like him being in our house. But if he'd only stay there for a while, I don't think it's worth it.
He thanked me for being understanding.
Fuck priorities!
So I was upset for a while. Then I just chose to think that I've been waiting for a couple of hours and SHE has been waiting for him for years.
So, instead of being upset, I chose to find a way to make the day special. I asked Neneng if she could come and she said yes. I asked Jeff and he said he would also come after their meeting. He actually planned but he thought it was too late to come to the house.
Evening came. I held my breath. But only for a while. Hehehe.
So went to the house, met my parents, ate dinner. Then we went to fetch Neneng who's in her Lola's (who wasn't a showgirl too) house.
RJ, Jeje, Romeo (loverboy! what a name!) and Shay have also arrived.
Then we watched the mini-concert that featured Kiko Machine. Through Bob, we went in for free.
After Kiko Machine... booze at home!
RJ and Jeff brought the others back to Maragondon early and Neneng stayed with me. The two returned for some more drinks.
Then we discussed many things. A lot were more about high school. At times I feel left out because I come from another section. All four of us become classmates only during our first year.
Neneng gave me a something-smells-fishy/I-know-what-you're-into look. The same look she gives me when I talk of Oman.
Denied it. Hahaha!
Then punchline of the meeting:
At 8am, while eating lugaw somewhere in Tanza, he asked me,
DO YOU LIKE RJ?
Bwahahahaha!
